Flexible cancellation

Quick overview

We know that you need to be flexible, which is why you can cancel almost all of our rates at any time at the end of the month. We also offer travelers who have taken out the MAWISTA Reisecare tariff the service of cancelling the insurance daily and at any time before the contract expires.

How to cancel

You can terminate your insurance contract without giving reasons, in accordance with the cancellation period ( regular cancellation).

Your cancellation must be received by us before the end of the cancellation period. After receiving your cancellation, we will check it and you will receive a written response from us shortly thereafter.

Do I have to cancel via online form?

No, you can also cancel by mail or e-mail. Your written and informal cancellation letter should contain the following data:

  • Your name
  • Your insurance number
  • The tariff you have taken out
  • The date on which the cancellation is to take effect

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Yes, you have a right of withdrawal. For contracts with a term of one month or more, you can revoke the contract declaration within 14 days without giving reasons via our service form, by e-mail or by letter. To comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient to send the revocation in time. If you submit the revocation in writing, it should be sent to the following address:

How can I extend my booked tariff?

You can use our contact form to submit a request for the extension of your booked tariff directly online. All you need is your name, your insurance number, the name of the tariff you have taken out and the renewal period. Please note the deadline for renewal when submitting your application. You can find the deadline of your tariff in the table above.

How can I change my tariff?

If you want to switch from your booked tariff to another one, you can submit a switch request via our contact form.
