Step three – Getting your German Tax number

Regardless that you are a freelancer, in Germany paying Income Taxes “Einkommensteuer” annually is a compulsion. If your monthly net revenues exceed 450 €, as a freelancer you also need to pay for the Social Security Pension Scheme.
